Emily Stelmakh, DTR (Dietetic Technician, Registered), studied Nutrition and Dietetics at Bastyr University and pursued a career in nutrition driven by a lifelong passion for health that began when she was an early teen. She has accumulated 8+ years of extensive health care experiences across the Pacific Northwest, working in nutrition care at reputable hospitals, healthcare clinics specializing in disordered eating treatment and women’s mental health, and as a personal trainer and nutrition coach at health clubs. Having personally explored many major diets, she gained valuable insights into the challenges her clients may face. Through her education and professional experience, Emily has embraced the belief that balance is key, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. Emily's holistic approach emphasizes balance, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs to create a sustainable lifelong path to wellness.
In her personal life, Emily is a dedicated wife and mother who finds joy in growing her own food in the garden and preparing nurturing meals for her growing family. When she’s not tending to her garden or cooking, Emily enjoys dabbling with acrylic paints on canvas, allowing her creativity to flow. Balancing family life, gardening, cooking, and painting keeps her happily engaged and fulfilled.
